Abstract

The article analyzes the effectiveness of the use of mobile applications in the study of tourism disciplines by students – future teachers of physical education. The effectiveness of the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process is theoretically substantiated. It is argued that mobile applications are an important tool in the context of the introduction of ICT in the educational process of face-to-face and distance forms, in particular in a pandemic and martial law. Considerable attention is paid to the expediency of using mobile applications in practice as a means of visualization to increase the effectiveness of learning: diversification of classes, increase their dynamism, enhance mutual learning, increase productivity and more. The advantages of mobile applications that allow to optimize study time are described. Mobile technologies that are the most popular and effective for the study of tourism disciplines by future specialists in the field of physical culture are identified, in particular, the advantages of the mobile application "In the Carpathian Hike" in the context of educational activities of sports students are described in detail. The effectiveness of the use of mobile applications in the training of future physical education teachers is proved through the description of the pedagogical experiment. The results of the experiment on the introduction of mobile applications in the study of tourism disciplines by students in control and experimental groups, namely – observation and testing to determine the level of mastery of higher education professional knowledge-oriented knowledge as a result of using mobile applications in the educational process. It is concluded that the convincing theoretical justification by researchers of the feasibility of using mobile applications in the educational process is confirmed by the results of a practical experiment. The directions of further research of the chosen problem are defined: practical aspects of use of mobile applications for development of educational, research projects, and also the organization of student practice and possible use in professional activity of future teachers of physical culture further.
