Abstract
The article revealed the issue of ensuring the educational environment of a general secondary education institution as a condition for the formation of students' readiness for innovative activities. Among the tasks identified by us, the first priority was to generalize some issues of the educational environment of the institution of general secondary education and show the results of practical activities to ensure a comfortable educational environment using the example of Kharkiv Gymnasium No. 12 of the Kharkiv City Council of the Kharkiv Region. The methodological base of the study was defined as a set of theoretical methods (analysis, synthesis, comparison, and generalization), empirical methods (observation of the actions of participants in the educational process, surveys) and mathematical statistics methods used to analyze the obtained data. It was found that a comfortable educational environment can be provided by following certain requirements and in accordance with a set of criteria. A detailed study and analysis of the works of foreign and domestic scientists made it possible to generalize and supplement the essence and content of the basic concepts of the study. Also, the analysis showed the importance of this issue in the context of the implementation and implementation of new state standards in the field of education. It has been proven that with the observance of conceptual changes in the general secondary education system (partnership pedagogy, stimulation of innovative activities of all participants in the educational process, determination of fair criteria for evaluating the educational achievements of students in accordance with new standards, ensuring school and teacher autonomy, academic and pedagogical freedom, compliance rules of academic integrity, fair financing of the institution of general secondary education) has a positive effect on the level of education and the results of educational achievements of the applicants. As a result of adherence to the fundamental ideas of the New Ukrainian School, under the condition of a comfortable educational environment, it is possible to realize the model of the NUS graduate (personality, innovator, patriot). It was determined that, according to the results of the self-analysis, the educational environment of the Kharkiv Gymnasium No. 12 of the Kharkiv City Council of the Kharkiv Region meets all its indicators and criteria at a sufficient level according to the requirements of the institutional audit.
