Abstract
The article reveals the role of diagnostic activity in the system of professional training as an important means of assessing the productivity of achieved results in the professional development of future teachers and the effectiveness and the beginning of university education in the minds. The respect of the investigators focuses mainly on the investigation of such phenomena as didactic and pedagogical diagnostics, pedagogical monitoring, control, evaluation, and correction of results. It is agreed that diagnostic activity is a process of data collection and the stage of their activity depends on other diagnostic technologies, procedures, technical instruments and the amount of diagnostic information and about individual abilities, aptitudes, and special features, which are the basis of the students’ professional development strategy. Direct diagnostic activity on the collection of global information necessary for the implementation of strategy in targeted, updated data, systematization, monitoring, control, analysis and evaluation. The essence, the relevant officials, and the characteristics of the productivity of diagnostic activity have been analyzed. The meta diagnostic activity is the readiness of students for self-analysis, correction of the trajectory of their professional development. Vaughn conveys the collection of data and the objective information necessary to establish criteria for analyzing and assessing pedagogical situations, identifying areas for finding optimal solutions, and caring for students’ actions and the correction of power actions if necessary, the level of productivity of professional training and the nature of the influx of pedagogical interaction in the professional growth of students. The productivity of diagnostic activity is determined by the benefits before it. Among them are particularly significant: objectivity, validity, reliability, systematic, the type of features of the object of diagnosis and the minds of its implementation, directive to student-centrism.
