CHINESE OIL PAINTING AS A MEANS OF CREATIVE SELF-REALIZATION OF FUTURE TEACHERS OF FINE ARTS

Abstract

The article presents the concept of “creative self-realization of the future teacher of fine arts” as a purposeful process of revealing professional and pedagogical abilities of the individual in the educational process in order to achieve high results in artistic and pedagogical activities. It is determined that the content of creative self-realization of the future teacher is determined by the direction of art. It is proved that painting in the process of mastering oil painting should refer to the individual characteristics of the artist, his creative imagination and creative thinking. The results of the analysis of scientific works of Chinese researchers (Wang Qing, Ning Ting, Li Xinhan, Pan Wei, Sun Ke, Chen Xiaofei, Qin Xiaofei) are given. There is a tendency to update the content of teaching Chinese oil painting, borrowing new techniques from European artists. It is noted that thanks to the evaluation of Chinese and foreign works of classical oil painting, future artists learn to create the right aesthetic concepts, improve personal characteristics, master the artistic style. However, future artists, admiring the works of foreign artists, are not sufficiently aware of the significance and benefits of traditional Chinese culture, do not feel the “spirit” of Chinese oil painting, which is reflected in the paintings. The author singles out the figure of the famous artist and teacher Liu Haisu, who became the founder of the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts. Liu Haisu’s creative self-realization became an example for his followers. The reasons that hinder the creative self-realization of future teachers of fine arts are identified. The pedagogical methods used in the professional training of future teachers in this field are specified. The elective course “Creative selfrealization of future teachers-artists by means of Chinese oil painting” for future teachers of fine arts is offered.
