THE FIGURE OF MYKOLA LYSENKA IN THE RESEARCH OF FAMOUS UKRAINIAN MUSICIANS

Abstract

The article substantiates the expediency of a holistic analysis of the creative portrait of Mykola Vitaliyovych Lysenko – a famous Ukrainian composer, pianist, choral conductor, collector of Ukrainian folklore, patriot, public figure, founder of higher specialized music education in Ukraine. The article focuses on the uniqueness and significant artistic value of the research of famous Ukrainian musicologists about the outstanding Ukrainian composer and public figure NV Lysenko, who was at the origins of Ukrainian national art and the founder of Ukrainian musical classics. An artist-democrat, an exponent of progressive ideas for his time, whose creative method was based on the advanced artistic and aesthetic principles of nationality, realism, historical truth in art. The cognitive and educational potential of the composer's creativity and activity is determined, the versatility of his creative activity is revealed and methodical recommendations on the use of biographical materials on the composer's life and work during the study of the subjects of the humanitarian cycle are developed. The article analyzes and considers art criticism approaches to the study of historical and artistic materials on the outstanding figure of Ukrainian composer Mykola Vitaliyovych Lysenko and reveals its didactic potential as a factor of national and patriotic education. Research methods include: theoretical analysis, synthesis, generalization of works of famous musicologists about the life and work of the outstanding Ukrainian composer, music and public figure, founder of higher specialized music education of Ukraine Mykola Lysenko.
